On July 20, CHIP MONG INSEE CEMENT CORPORATION (CMIC) formally settled in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone. After settled in, an industrial waste collection center will be established in the zone to provide industrial waste treatment services for enterprises in the zone. The successful entry of this enterprise is another strong proof that Sihanoukville Special Zone Company has implemented the concept of "win-win", and will add momentum to the creation of a green and ecological model park.

At the signing ceremony, the Deputy Director of the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau Deshinura pointed out that the Cambodian Ministry of Environmental Protection has always advocated protecting the ecological environment, protecting biodiversity, and protecting the sustainable use of natural resources for generations to benefit future generations. He believes that the introduction of CMIC by the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone Company is another important sign in the development of the Special Zone. It not only creates favorable conditions for the production and operation of factories and enterprises in the zone, but also makes a significant contribution to promoting the safety and health of the entire park and improving the environmental quality.

Cao Jianjiang said that the presence of CMIC will further improve the environmental protection measures in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, create conditions for the green development of the special zone, and become a new industrial city suitable for business and living, and inject vitality into the construction of the upgraded version of the special zone 2.0.
